Manual and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization using the FAKTR ConceptsThis class covers the basics of how to utilize both manual and IASTM methods, from hand holds to different strokes using instruments. You will also learn how to use a number of manual techniques known to be effective in treating fascial/soft tissue disorders. With the 12 hour class, there is time to discuss the latest research related to soft tissue/fascia as well as time to practice hands on/instruments on a number of body parts. This is a hands on class mixed with didactic material based on review of the literature. There are 2 components to becoming FAKTR Certified, this hands on 12 hour course and the 6.5 hour, online course. You may take one or both course and in any order.
