Developer of NMT American version™, Judith DeLany's many years of experience and her enthusiasm as an educator of adults is obvious in her presentation and curriculum development style. As an internationally recognized speaker, Judith has served as a presenter at numerous FSMTA, FCA, and AMTA state and national conventions, as well as running camps and multidisciplinary conferences. As an academic author, Judith has produced collaborative work with acclaimed author Dr. Leon Chaitow, resulting in three significant textbooks (2 now in 2nd editions) and a variety of articles and book chapters. Additionally, she spent 12 years as an associate editor and contributing writer for peer-reviewed Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies and now serves on JBMT Advisory Board. In 2012, she worked as lead contributor with Primal Pictures to produce 3D Anatomy for Massage and Manual Therapies, an interactive software program customized for manual therapy practitioners. These positions have offered her a broad perspective on the emergence of massage therapy worldwide. With the heart of a visionary, Judith’s ongoing efforts in the massage field has helped to form bridges between conventional and complementary medicines and has provided an atmosphere where massage can be integrated into any medical setting. In August 2015, Judith received the AMTA National Distinguished Service Award signifying her contributions to the massage field in an outstanding manner.
