Dr. Donald C. DeFabio, chiropractic orthopedist, physical rehabilitation and sports physician,  was graduated from the Northeast College of Health Sciences, Trinity College, in Hartford, Connecticut, and from Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ. He is triple board certified in Chiropractic Orthopedics, Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Injury Management as well as being a Corrective Exercise Specialist. Dr. DeFabio holds additional certifications in Stecco Fascial Manipulation, Manipulation under Anesthesia, SFMA, Active Release Techniques, Graston, and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He has extensive sports physician experience treating athletes in the United States Fencing Association, USA Track and Field (NJ events), Ironman Triathlon World Championships, as well as numerous local cycling and running events. He has served as the medical coordinator for the United States Wheelchair Fencing Team and an International Classifier for the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation. In addition, he is the chiropractic physician for Drew University Athletics and consults with Rutgers Track and Field teams. He has written  been published in several peer reviewed journals for his research and case studies.
