J. Alan Lovejoy, D.C., LCP was in private practice for 24 years and served as an Associate Professor in the field of chiropractic education 14 years, where he spoke in various venues as well as classroom lecturing. As a coach and mentor to many, his purpose statement is, “To empower others to live a healthier, happier and more successfully balanced life.” Honesty, integrity and character are the motivating factors behind Dr. Lovejoy. J. Alan has presented on such topics as, health and wellness, life goal setting, laughter, stress management, personality identification, state management, is a national speaker for professional development education in his profession and has been published in professional publications. He is the co-developer of the Straighten Up for Kids program which has now been translated into 15 languages. Dr. Lovejoy is the recipient of numerous awards and most recently was awarded the Distinguished Fellows award from the International Chiropractors Association . J Alan is recognized for his unique ability to communicate with a great sense of fairness and compassion. His presentations are very informative and at times peppered with a little wit and wisdom. His spirit and integrity are unquestioned. His love of Chiropractic is obvious and his great zeal for life is contagious. J. Alan serves as a liaison and consultant for an international company. The Masters Circle, a professional coaching group, selected Lovejoy as recipient of The Masters Circle Presidents Award for Chiropractic Spirit. Dr. Lovejoy is also a member of Who’s Who of America’s Teachers. J. Alan is very happily married to his wife of 35 years. They enjoy spending time together, with their sons, daughter-in-law and new granddaughter. The Lovejoy’s are truly a Chiropractic lifestyle family. They attend Green Valley Baptist Church, love to travel and enjoy playing with their dogs, an English Springer, a French Brittany and a Heinz 57.
