Dr Zilke grew up in the Chicago region before moving to St. Louis to attend St. Louis University program in Physical Therapy, he graduated in 1989. While there he spent considerable time working with the Billiken sports teams. After graduating from SLU Dr. Zilke worked as an inpatient therapist, then enrolled at Logan College of chiropractic. He has been in private practice since graduating in 1995. He completed acupuncture training from the Acupuncture Society of America in Kansas City, founded by Dr. Richard Yennie and became certified to perform acupuncture in Missouri in 2010. Dr. Zilke currently instructs rehab techniques at Logan as well as Private practice. It is his goal there to instruct chiropractic students that rehab belongs in a chiropractic and is essential for stabilization of the subluxation. Dr. Zilke currently lives on 3 acres in New Melle MO with his wife, 5 children and as few livestock as he can sustain.
