These are examples of training functional activities with Thera-Band loops

Instructions:
Perform these exercises under the supervision of a qualified healthcare provider. Certain exercises may not be appropriate for every individual, while other exercises may be indicated. All exercises should be performed painfree.

Thera-Band Loop Step-Press

Instructions:
Assume a staggered-step posture. Place medium band around upper back and grasp other end of loop in hands. Extend arms forward, keeping back straight. Hold and slowly return.

Instructions:
Begin with medium loop wrapped around your thighs, above the knees. Keep your back straight as you step upward against the band.

Thera-Band Loop Lateral Walk (Monster Walk)

Instructions:
Begin with medium loop wrapped around your thighs, above the knees. Slightly bend your hips and knees into an athletic position. Keep your back straight as you step laterally against the band.

Instructions:
Stand with small loop around thighs, just above the knees. Keep feet a shoulder-width apart. Slightly bend the hips forward, keeping back straight and lower hips to ground by bending knees to about 45 degrees. Hold and slowly return.

Instructions:
Begin with short loop around knees. Walk forward as you would normally.

Instructions:
Begin by grasping a medium loop around each hand above your head. Pull down and push out at the same time, bringing your elbows into your pockets. Hold and slowly return.

Instructions:
Begin with one end of a medium loop underneath your foot. Slightly bend forward at the hips. Pull the other end of the band upward, bending your elbow and extending your shoulder. Hold and slowly return.

Instructions:
Begin with medium loop wrapped around your thighs, above the knees. Slightly bend your hips and knees into an athletic position. Keep your back straight as you step forward at an angle against the band.
