This blog article from the New York Times asks the question, "Does Kinesiology Tape Really Work?" I believe the author did not state all the facts, leaning towards the side of "NO" to answer the question. But I provided a comment to defend the research and its clinical use despite the one-sided conclusion.
It seems like an age-old question by now: “Does kinesiology tape actually work?”
While some believe there’s no evidence, or a placebo effect at best,a recent study published in theBritish Journal of Sports Medicine concluded that research does support the use of kinesiology tape to reduce musculoskeletal pain.
