Pro Foam Roller with Wrap Horizontal Thoracic Release
Find a relatively open area with a decent amount of floor space. Begin by sitting in front of the Thera-Band Pro Foam Roller with Wrap. Gently lean back to rest upper back (shoulder blades) across the horizontal Roller, head remains in neutral alignment and cradled in lightly laced fingers, heels anchored on the floor. Begin breath-work – deep stomach inhalations followed by full exhalations. On each exhalation, progressively allow upper body to fold backwards over the Roll to mobilize the thoracic spine and open up the chest. This release is not achieved through a rolling motion, but rather through the progressive relaxation of breath-work. Control the pressure through controlling the amount of weight on the Roller.
