Roller Massager+ Elongated Adductor Release
Self-release of the adductor muscles; elongated position
Instructions:Stand to the side of a ledge or step, with heel (of leg with adductors to be rolled) propped up out to the side of the body. Stance leg is slightly bent and propped knee and foot face the ceiling. Grasp both ends of the Thera-Band Roller Massager+ so that ridged roller is positioned across the inside of the thigh. Gently roll the Massager+ up and down along the path of the adductor muscles, bending from the hips with chest lifted so as not to stress the low back. In general, longer strokes in this elongated position will work more superficial layers of the tissue.
NOTE: See “Roller Massager+ Shortened Adductor Release” and “Roller Massager+ Neutral Adductor Release” for positional variations.
