Graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Biology after serving 5 years in the Marine Corps. Taught 8th grade science and physical ed, then attended Logan College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1977. Practiced in Miami, FL and was the chiro consultant for the Miami Dolphins for 7 years. Competed as a 68 kilo powerlifter for 18 years, terrible at it but had fun. Served as the chiro for the 1987 Pan American Games with the US team. Worked with several high school athletic programs and several universities. I have had the fortune to lecture all over the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, S. Africa, England, Wales, Italy, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Japan, HK, and Australia. Jones and Bartlett published the second edition of Conservative Management of Sports Injuries by Hyde and Gengenbach in 2007. Received an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Canadian Chiropractic Sports Sciences RCCSS (Hon), April 2009.
