Tenson Edmonds completed the professional Diploma in physical therapy at the University Hospital of the West Indies School of Physical Therapy in Kingston, Jamaica 2002. He garnered experience ranging from acute respiratory care to outpatient neuro rehab and orthopedic care. Tenson migrated to the Cayman Islands in 2006 and now applies his skill at RVC Rehab Services. He completed the doctorate of physical therapy at Utica College, New York in 2014. He has earned certification in different areas including Functional capacity evaluation (FCE), ergonomic evaluation and assessment (CEAS), Kinesio Taping (CKTI), acupuncture and the Burdenko Method. He was trained as a Thera-Band instructor in January 2013 and has since then incorporated this philosophy to both rehab and performance enhancement. Tenson has been entrusted with the care of some of Jamaica’s and Cayman Islands’ most elite athletes on numerous occasions. He has a passion for movement and believes that there is power in movement; his mantra is “only movement can correct a movement problem”. In his spare time, Tenson coaches young Caymanian track & field athletes and assist in the preparation of other athletes. With his wealth of experience and strong passion for movement, he his excited to assist you incorporate the powerful and researched based tool of Thera-Band education!
