Your question was: Can I exercise the same muscle with elastic resistance on consecutive days?

Our experts said: When strength training, it's important to give the muscle time for 'rest and recovery' between workouts in order to repair itself and grow. It's recommended to rest 24 to 48 hours between workouts of the same muscle group. During rehabilitation, lower intensities are often used; in this case, it's generally OK to exercise the same muscle group on consecutive days. Check with your healthcare provider for an appropriate exercise prescription for rehabilitation.
